About Me

I’m not going to say “Hi, I’m Jasmin!” – makes me feel like I’m in an AA meeting. 🙂

What’s there to know about me? I’m a 20-something-year-old socially awkward pescatarian who grew up living abroad, having travelled the world over literally since I was born (mum went into early labor in Pakistan, I was born in Germany!). Now I’m settled in good ole Texas, spending most of my time writing, doing projects on my house, and advocating for blacks in higher education. And while, like every other twenty-something, I do have an intense passion for traveling, culture, and finding purpose in life, I also have a great desire to pay my bills, find a church home, keep up with the couple good friends that I have, be a good daughter and sister, figure out what my next career steps might be and not be the only neighbor in my community who can’t keep the yard in order.
